Notice of Public Hearing for the 2026 Loogootee Civil City Budget

This public hearing on Monday, September 8, 2025 is an important part of the budgeting process, giving residents a crucial opportunity to review the city's financial plans and provide their input. Following the hearing, any ten or more taxpayers may formally object to a budget, tax rate, or tax levy by filing a petition with the proper officers of the Loogootee Common Council not more than seven days after the hearing. The objection petition must identify the specific provisions of the budget to which taxpayers object.
