Do I need to register my golf cart to drive it on city streets?

Yes, all golf carts must be registered annually before use on city streets. First-time registration costs $25.00 and renewal fee costs $10.00. This can be done at the Police Department in-person.

Golf carts must meet all inspection requirements for new registration. Inspection checklist is as follows:

1. Headlights and tail lights
2. Seatbelts
3. Slow Moving Vehicle (SMV) sign
4. Rearview mirror
5. Flashing red or amber light (Red must only be visible from rear and side)
6. Proof of Insurance
