The annual Loogootee Summerfest is a popular community event that takes place each year in the city. It typically features a variety of activities and entertainment for people of all ages, including live music, carnival rides and games, food vendors, and craft and merchandise vendors.

Summerfest celebration often includes events, such as a 5k race, a petting zoo, pickleball, volleyball, and poker tournaments and family-friendly games and activities. These events are designed to bring the community together and provide a fun and enjoyable experience for all.

K of C, VFW, and Legion will be open to the public during the festival for alcoholic drinks.
