Parade Details‍

The Festival of Lights Parade is the highlight of the evening, starting at 6:00 PM. Parade participants will line up at 5:00 PM at Loogootee High School. The route will wind its way through town, starting at the high school and ending at St. John’s Catholic Church.

We’re excited to honor the creativity of our community with a variety of parade awards, including:

• Grand Marshall’s Choice – Overall favorite entry
• Mayor’s Choice – A standout selection by the mayor
• Santa’s Workshop Award – Most creative entry
• Elfin Magic Award – Best entry featuring children
• Tin Soldier Award – Best marching or walking entry
• Rudolph’s Friends Award – Best entry featuring animals

Christmas Stroll Activities

‍There’s something for everyone during the Christmas Stroll:

• Hayrides & Carriage Rides: Enjoy a peaceful ride through our charming, decorated streets.
• Food & Craft Vendors: Grab a bite to eat and shop for unique handmade gifts from local vendors.
• Pictures with Santa: Snap a memory with Santa Claus himself!
• Letters to Santa: Let the kids write their Christmas wishes and send them to the North Pole.
• Cookie Bake-Off: Think you’ve got the best holiday cookies in town? Register to enter your own batch of cookies, or join the festivities and vote for your favorite cookie while supporting the Martin County Humane Society! Visit the dedicated Cookie Bake-Off event page for more info!
