2024 Loogootee Christmas Stroll and Festival of Lights Parade

Join us in Loogootee for a warm and festive evening filled with holiday cheer! The Christmas Stroll and Festival of Lights Parade is the perfect way to celebrate the season with friends, family, and neighbors. This year’s theme, “Winter Wonderland,” promises cozy fun and small-town holiday magic.

Parade Details

The Festival of Lights Parade is the highlight of the evening, starting at 6:00 PM. Parade participants will line up at 5:00 PM at Loogootee High School. The route will wind its way through town, starting at the high school and ending at St. John’s Catholic Church.

  • Mayor’s Choice – A standout selection by the mayor
  • Santa’s Workshop Award – Most creative entry

Christmas Stroll Activities

There’s something for everyone during the Christmas Stroll:

  • Hayrides & Carriage Rides: Enjoy a peaceful ride through our charming, decorated streets.
  • Food & Craft Vendors: Grab a bite to eat and shop for unique handmade gifts from local vendors.
  • Pictures with Santa: Snap a memory with Santa Claus himself!
  • Letters to Santa: Let the kids write their Christmas wishes and send them to the North Pole.
