Join us for Loogootee Summerfest 2026, happening June 18–20 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM each evening! This year’s festival will be hosted at the Loogootee Gathering Pavilion and surrounding areas (previously known as the green space). We’re bringing the community together for three nights of fun, entertainment, and great memories.
Enjoy live bands, our exciting queen pageant, a chalk contest, and carnival rides generously provided by Lark Ranch. There will also be a variety of vendors, food, and activities for all ages throughout the event.
Whether you’re coming for the music, the food, or just a fun night out with family and friends, there’s something for everyone at Summerfest. Bring your chairs, bring your people, and come enjoy a great time in Loogootee! We can't wait to see you there!

Dirty Deeds
Are you ready for a high-voltage rock-and-roll experience? Dirty Deeds is an all-star AC/DC tribute show that delivers an extreme, two-part concert experience second to none. Witness a massive production that spans over 45 years of legendary hits, starting with the gritty Bon Scott era -- complete with authentic bagpipes -- before transitioning into a full-scale, cannon-firing tribute to the Brian Johnson years. With jaw-dropping costume changes, iconic stage props like the lowering Hells Bell, and a band of seasoned virtuosos who nail every single album-perfect riff, Dirty Deeds will leave you on your feet and screaming for more!

Alex Miller
Rising country star Alex Miller first gained national attention on American Idol in 2021, and his career has taken off ever since. With hit songs like “Puttin’ Up Hay” and “When God Made the South,” Alex brings a fresh yet traditional country sound that fans love. First & Main
We’re excited to welcome back a talented local favorite to Loogootee Summerfest after last year’s great performance! With 50+ years of combined musical experience, “First & Main” featuring Austin Jones, Will Kimble, Kendall Bratton, and Conor Hart have been performing across Southern Indiana for the past 4 years. Their music has been featured on stages at venues such as The Astra, The Bluebird, Riverstage, and Lincoln Amphitheatre.

Summerfest 5K
Kick off Saturday morning with a burst of fresh air and energy! Run, jog, or walk your way through the beautifully paved, scenic roads of West Boggs Park. With a 5K Fun Walk at 7:30 AM and a 5K Run at 8:00 AM, it's a fantastic, stroller-friendly event for all fitness levels.

Summerfest Parade
Grab your lawn chairs, wave your flags, and experience one of Loogootee's ultimate traditions! This year's patriotic "Stars, Stripes, and Summer Nights" parade features an incredible lineup of decorated floats, walking groups, classic cars, marching bands, and local emergency vehicles. Come celebrate the heart of our community!

Summerfest Pickleball Tournament
The fastest-growing sport in America takes over Summerfest! Spanning the entire weekend at the Loogootee Pickleball Courts, this tournament features action-packed divisions for Youth COED, Men's & Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Space is limited to 8 teams per division, so grab a partner and claim your spot in the medal rounds.

Summerfest 3v3 Basketball Tournament
Lace up your sneakers and bring your best squad to the court! This tournament brings the action indoors to the Activity Center Gym at Loogootee High School. Featuring multiple boys' and girls' divisions spanning from 3rd grade all the way through high school. Games kick off at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 20th, and registration is just $30 per team. Don't miss out -- register your team today!

Summerfest Queen Pageant
A beloved Loogootee tradition returns to the Gathering Pavilion Stage for a full evening celebrating our community's youth! The magic kicks off with the adorable, non-competitive Princess & Prince Event, where little ones ages 3–5 take the stage in casual attire and every child receives a crown. Immediately following, cheer on our remarkable local contestants in the Summerfest Queen Pageant—spanning from Tiny Tots to the Miss division—as they showcase their confidence, talent, and hometown pride. Come out and support the bright future of Loogootee!

Saddle up for some gentle, old-fashioned fun! We are thrilled to welcome Sugars Ridge Ranch back to the Loogootee Summerfest this year. Perfect for our youngest festival-goers, these friendly ponies offer a safe riding experience right in the heart of our community celebration. Find them in the grassy area on Railroad Street right under the billboard! Don’t forget your cameras!
