Movie Under the Stars: Jurassic Park

Hold onto your hats! The Loogootee Beautification Board proudly invites you to an adventure 65 million years in the making. Join us at the Loogootee Gathering Pavilion for a thrilling, action-packed evening under the stars featuring the ultimate sci-fi blockbuster, Jurassic Park. We have got a fantastic lineup of prehistoric activities planned before the movie starts, making this the perfect Saturday night escape for dinosaur lovers of all ages.

The prehistoric fun officially kicks off at 8:00 PM at the Loogootee Pavilion. Children and families are invited to participate in our Dinosaur Egg Hunt to search for hidden treasures scattered throughout the area. Nearby, young paleontologists can head over to the Dinosaur Dig Site to unleash their inner scientists and excavate buried fossils. Families can also stop by our Jurassic Photo Ops area to pose with awesome dinosaur props and realistic prehistoric backdrops for a memorable keepsake photo.

As dusk approaches around 9:30 PM, grab your seats on the Pavilion lawn. The free outdoor screening of Jurassic Park will begin rolling on the giant screen as soon as it is fully dark. The featured film is proudly provided by Swank Motion Pictures Inc.

This entire evening of activities and entertainment is completely free for our community. Seating is first-come, first-served on the grass, so please remember to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and plenty of courage. Delicious concessions will be available for purchase on-site, including hot popcorn, candy, and refreshing cold drinks to enjoy during the film.
